I’m a product of Northville Public Schools, the wife of a teacher and the daughter of an educator. After studying government, public affairs and policy at James Madison College at Michigan State University, I attended Wayne State University Law School.

I have served as legal counsel for abused and neglected children, and handled family law matters for underserved residents in Wayne County.  I spent over a decade representing the interests of large employers and insurance companies before moving to advocate on behalf of injured workers.

As a current member of Novi City Council, I am keeping my promises to put residents first, to fight for green space and protect wildlife, to be open and accessible, and put our kids, schools, infrastructure, small businesses and public safety first.

I am a member of the Michigan Bar, Michigan Association for Justice, Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan - Oakland, League of Women’s Voters, American Association of University Women and participate with Michigan Moms Demand Action and the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation.

My husband, Matt, and I moved to Novi in 2006. We are raising our two young children, Abigail and Elliott, along with our Golden Retriever, Ozzi, in a quiet neighborhood near Walled Lake.  We love it here, and my mission is to make sure you love it too.  I will fiercely advocate for every resident of the 38th District to ensure that you have the best your city and the entire state of Michigan has to offer.
