Hi, I’m Kelly Breen. I have filled many roles in my life so far, including an attorney, a mom, an activist, an educator’s wife, a Novi City Council member, and a Michigan State Representative.

As a native Michigander, my love for our state was built on a deep sense of admiration and pride in my neighbors and our community. That’s why I entered public service in the first place. When my neighbors and I joined together to push back against an irresponsible local development project, we were able to make an important change in our neighborhood. From that point on, I was sold on the idea of spending my days making life better for people in my community.

Since becoming your state representative, I have supported our district and all Michiganders by standing up for our public schools and teachers, helping Michigan families access affordable, high-quality child care, protecting essential workers during COVID, and most recently, fighting sexual abuse and empowering survivors. I’ve worked across the aisle with anyone who cares about helping our area and our neighbors thrive because I believe the role of a public servant is to improve our collective quality of life.

From protecting our water and “lake life” to helping our working families and boosting our local economy, your priorities are my priorities. I’m committed to listening to your concerns and making good things happen for Michigan.

Let’s do this—together.
